Stephanie Ann Piotrski
Stephanie was born in Louisville, Kentucky, April 1st, 1960, and now resides in Corydon, Indiana, with her husband Skip. She is a registered nurse, working in the outpatient surgery department of Harrison County Hospital in Corydon. She is an experienced burn nurse, having worked in the University of Louisville Hospital burn unit from 1992 through 1996.
In 1997 after having several major surgeries herself, and becoming ill to the point of near organ failure, she committed her life to Christ Jesus, who miraculously healed her. From the end of 1997 to 2006 she worked in the Pre-Anesthesia Testing Department identifying with patients having upcoming surgery at St. Mary & Elizabeth Hospital in Louisville, Kentucky.
Stephanie has a deep call to intercessory prayer. By the leading of the Holy Spirit, she founded Soldier for Christ Medical Missions in 2001, which provides free medical supplies to missionaries traveling abroad. To date, over 30 countries around the world have received help through this commitment.
When not in the mission fields herself, Stephanie and Skip open their country home as a retreat sanctuary. Known as Poplar Hill Farm, or, Shalom Aleichem (“Peace To You”), they have many visitors throughout the year.
